A casual dining brand that showcases authentic Indian dishes

Brief

Masala Zone, the casual dining brand serving ‘real Indian food’ from the creators of Chutney Mary, Amaya and Veeraswamy, appointed us to create a website to support the re-brand of the chain to appeal to London’s millennials.

Solution

The website brings the colours and vibrancy of India to life, showcasing the authentic Indian dishes available at the seven individually decorated restaurants, each of which features different regional Indian artwork. A very Indian colour palette was married with the traditional rangoli flower petal art form to create backdrop for the food, location, and artwork photography.

Nucleus designed and built the mobile-first responsive website that integrates with the online table reservation system and innovative loyalty scheme – allowing users to view exclusive offers and view and spend loyalty points.

Results

The re-brand, supported by the website, has proved successful and has spurred rapid rollout across all Masala Zone’s locations.
