The Berkeley, part of Maybourne Hotel Group, is famous for both its discreetly stylish position in Wilton Place, Knightsbridge overlooking Hyde Park and its cosseting 5 star luxury, with designer suites, bars, rooftop spa and Marcus Wareing’s 2 Michelin-starred restaurant, ‘Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley’. A favourite with fashionistas and celebrities alike, The Berkeley’s new website brings its unique appeal to life online.
The Berkeley is the second of three hotel websites Nucleus is creating for Maybourne Hotel Group. The first, for The Connaught in Mayfair, launched in March and Claridge’s is to follow in November. Nucleus has extended its clean, elegant and simple-to-use approach to The Berkeley, with a striking design that uses photography extensively to create a involving pictorial experience of the hotel. The website has again been built using an Ektron 400 content management platform.
Mike Bonner, Maybourne Hotel Group’s Marketing Director, commented “Nucleus has sensitively interpreted the unique appeal of The Berkeley and designed an elegant, chic and stylish website that will strike a chord with The Berkeley’s design-literate guests.” Peter Matthews, Nucleus’ Managing Director and project leader added “Working on projects for your favourite hotels is always a pleasure. Working for The Berkeley was a real treat.”
